After sulking and thinking for a while, I'm re-writing the Lighthouse story. A lot will go, and I might incorporate stuff from the Moon story. Strip down the thing, reduce to scrap and see what can survive. All the magic stuff will go, as will the characters Scribble and Grunt. Mummy and Daddy can fill those roles to some extent. Mrs Woman is to be a more important character, or at least a more important presence in the book. Make more of village life, and the mysterious Mr Woodbine...
Might be more difficult to get them to the Moon, though.
